Texture

Texture is element of art that tells us how the object feels like.

Its when the shading slowly becomes darker.  In our value table we started from white until it went to black.

Real vs. Implied, Geometric vs. Organic

Elements are what make up art.

Line and shape are related because a line connected with another line make up a shape.

Form is 3 dimensional shape with a length, height and width . A shape is 2 dimensional with a length and width.

An implied line is not a complete line but it is meant to look like it.

  
A real line is a straight complete line.
A geometric shape is a sharp, straight line.

A organic line is a curved,natural shape.

What is a line.

A line is the most important element in art. A line can be made as a curved, zig-zagged, or straight line.
